Colin Baker is a professional practising consulting engineer and trainer. Colin provides hazardous area advice, guidance and training based on the requirements of the relevant Australian Standards. His work includes the classification of hazardous area locations, the inspection of electrical installations and running 1-day, 2-day and 3-day workshops.

Mark Dohrmann, FESA webmaster, is an engineer and ergonomist who runs a safety and ergonomics consulting business. Mark does expert work in public and workplace safety claims, Australia-wide, specialising in falls, slips, strain injuries, machinery and vehicle accidents. John Lambert, current FESA chairman. is a mechanical, agricultural and forensic engineer. Russell Lee is an electrical and mechanical engineer who has worked in the forensic engineering and fire investigation fields for the past 23 years. He specialises in electrical fires, and major mechanical and electrical failures. He has spoken and lectured regularly in Australia and more recently overseas, and has published a number of articles and technical papers relating to failure mechanisms and the consequences of poor maintenance, and careless operations. Ian Thomas, former FESA chairman, is a consulting chemical, environmental, risk and forensic engineer working as an accident investigator and expert witness wherever chemical or environmental issues arise eg when developments are proposed near to major hazard facilities.
